Located in Taichung, this project is a quintessential transformation of a compact apartment.<\/p>

Through a precise renovation strategy for small-scale living, we successfully broke through the constraints of the original layout. Designed for a DINK (Double Income, No Kids) couple pursuing a high-quality lifestyle, this sanctuary\u2014named “Beyond the Frame”\u2014redefines traditional residential boundaries, creating an infinite sense of living within a limited footprint.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u8d70\u9032\u5ba4\u5167\uff0c\u6700\u5f15\u4eba\u6ce8\u76ee\u7684\u662f\u627f\u8f09\u591a\u91cd\u6a5f\u80fd\u7684\u7d14\u767d\u4e2d\u5cf6\u3002\u5728\u6709\u9650\u7684\u7a7a\u9593\u88e1\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u6368\u68c4\u4e86\u65e2\u6709\u9694\u9593\u7246\uff0c\u5be6\u73fe\u4e86\u5b8c\u5168\u7684\u958b\u653e\u5f0f\u7a7a\u9593\u3002\u9019\u5ea7\u4e2d\u5cf6\u4e0d\u50c5\u662f\u5099\u9910\u5340\uff0c\u66f4\u662f\u7a7a\u9593\u7684\u4e92\u52d5\u6838\u5fc3\u3002<\/p>

\u6211\u5011\u9078\u64c7\u4ee5\u4e2d\u5cf6\u53d6\u4ee3\u9910\u684c\uff0c\u4e0d\u50c5\u89e3\u6c7a\u4e86\u50b3\u7d71\u9910\u5ef3\u7a7a\u9593\u4fb7\u4fc3\u7684\u554f\u984c\uff0c\u4e5f\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u4e32\u806f\u7a7a\u9593\u6548\u76ca\u3002
\u7121\u8ad6\u662f\u65e9\u6668\u7684\u5496\u5561\u6642\u5149\uff0c\u9084\u662f\u591c\u665a\u7684\u7d05\u9152\u5c0d\u8ac7\uff0c\u4e2d\u5cf6\u6210\u4e86\u5bb6\u4e2d\u4e92\u52d5\u983b\u7387\u6700\u9ad8\u7684\u5730\u5e36\uff0c\u589e\u52a0\u5bb6\u4eba\u4e92\u52d5\u3002<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Upon entering, the most striking feature is the multi-functional, pristine white kitchen island. In this compact space, we discarded conventional partition walls to achieve a completely open-plan layout. This island is not merely a prep area; it is the interactive heart of the entire home. By choosing an island to replace the dining table, we not only solved the issue of a cramped dining area but also created a seamless flow that connects the different zones of the house. Whether for a morning coffee or an evening talk over wine, the island has become the most frequented spot, significantly enhancing interaction between family members.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u5eda\u623f\u5340\u57df\u7279\u5225\u898f\u5283\uff0c\u5c07\u6c34\u69fd\u8f49\u5411\u9762\u7a97\uff0c\u8b93\u6d17\u6ecc\u8207\u6599\u7406\u6642\u7684\u76ee\u5149\u80fd\u8d8a\u904e\u767e\u8449\u7a97\uff0c\u7a97\u5916\u7684\u5149\u5f71\u6d41\u52d5\u63a5\u8ecc\uff0c\u6d88\u5f2d\u4e86\u5bb6\u52d9\u52de\u4f5c\u7684\u5c01\u9589\u611f\uff0c\u8b93\u65e5\u5e38\u5bb6\u52d9\u4e5f\u6210\u4e86\u4e00\u7a2e\u4eab\u53d7\u3002<\/p>

The kitchen was specifically replanned to have the sink facing the window, allowing one\u2019s gaze to wander past the blinds to the shifting light and shadows outside, eliminating the sense of confinement often felt during chores and turning daily routines into a form of enjoyment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u5ba2\u5ef3\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u523b\u610f\u64fa\u812b\u5236\u5f0f\u5ba2\u5ef3\u6c99\u767c\u914d\u7f6e\uff0c\u6368\u68c4\u4e86\u6c89\u91cd\u7684\u5927\u578b\u4e09\u4eba\u6c99\u767c\uff0c\u6539\u4ee5\u6975\u5177\u8a2d\u8a08\u611f\u7684\u55ae\u4eba\u4f11\u9592\u6c99\u767c\uff08Togo Sofa\uff09\u53d6\u800c\u4ee3\u4e4b\u3002
\u9019\u7a2e\u914d\u7f6e\u8b93\u52d5\u7dda\u66f4\u52a0\u9748\u6d3b\uff0c\u7a7a\u9593\u4e0d\u518d\u88ab\u5bb6\u5177\u300c\u5361\u4f4f\u300d\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u5728\u8996\u89ba\u4e0a\u7372\u5f97\u4e86\u6975\u4f73\u7684\u7a7f\u900f\u3002<\/p>

In the living area, we intentionally broke away from conventional sofa configurations. By forgoing a heavy three-seater sofa in favor of the iconic and sculptural Togo Sofa, we allowed the circulation to become more fluid. The space is no longer “trapped” by bulky furniture, resulting in exceptional visual transparency.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u7a7f\u904e\u516c\u9818\u57df\u7684\u6d41\u66a2\u52d5\u7dda\uff0c\u4e3b\u81e5\u5ba4\u7684\u5165\u53e3\u8655\u4ee5\u6d41\u66a2\u7684\u5713\u62f1\u9020\u578b\u5448\u73fe\u3002\u9019\u9053\u4e3b\u81e5\u5ba4\u62f1\u9580\u662f\u4e00\u7a2e\u5fc3\u7406\u6697\u793a\u7684\u8f49\u6298\uff0c\u8ce6\u4e88\u4e86\u56de\u6b78\u4f11\u61a9\u7a7a\u9593\u7684\u5100\u5f0f\u611f\u3002\u5713\u6f64\u7684\u5f27\u7dda\u67d4\u5316\u4e86\u7a7a\u9593\uff0c\u8b93\u9032\u5165\u79c1\u9818\u57df\u7684\u904e\u7a0b\u8b8a\u5f97\u512a\u96c5\u800c\u5e73\u7de9\u3002<\/p>

Following the fluid movement from the public area, the entrance to the master bedroom is presented through a graceful archway. This master bedroom arch serves as a psychological transition, bestowing a sense of ritual when returning to a place of rest. \u5373\u4fbf\u5728\u5c0f\u576a\u6578\u7684\u81e5\u5ba4\u7a7a\u9593\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u4f9d\u7136\u5e6b\u5c4b\u4e3b\u898f\u5283\u4e86\u5c0f\u578b\u7684\u8d70\u5165\u66f4\u8863\u5ba4\uff0c\u5728\u4e0d\u986f\u58d3\u8feb\u7684\u524d\u63d0\u4e0b\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u5145\u8db3\u7684\u6536\u7d0d\u6a5f\u80fd\u3002

\u7576\u751f\u6d3b\u4e0d\u518d\u88ab\u7246\u58c1\u8207\u5236\u5f0f\u5bb6\u5177\u5b9a\u7fa9\uff0c\u5bb6\u4fbf\u6210\u70ba\u4e86\u4e00\u5ea7\u6d41\u52d5\u7684\u5cf6\u5dbc\uff0c\u5728\u5149\u5f71\u8207\u5c0d\u8a71\u4e2d\uff0c\u627f\u8f09\u8d77\u5c45\u4f4f\u8005\u5c0d\u7f8e\u597d\u751f\u6d3b\u7684\u7121\u9650\u60f3\u50cf\u3002\u5728\u9019\u88e1\uff0c\u6846\u5916\u4e0d\u662f\u865b\u7121\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u66f4\u5ee3\u95ca\u7684\u81ea\u7531\u3002<\/p>

Even within the limited dimensions of the bedroom, we managed to incorporate a compact walk-in closet, providing ample storage without feeling oppressive.
When life is no longer defined by walls and standardized furniture, a home becomes a floating island. Amidst light, shadow, and dialogue, it carries the residents’ infinite imagination for a beautiful life.
